My Current Hair Regimen

It just dawned on me that I have not gone into detail on what my current hair regimen was... Shame on me!  Although, this is my current regimen it may be altered as I see fit and my hair needs.  No matter how good a product is rated to be always listen to your own hair.  What works wonders for others may be devastating to your hair.  Right now, I try to keep my hair care as basic as possible (even though it might not seem that way).  So, here it goes:

Shampoo 1X/Week
Giovanni 50:50 Balanced Shampoo, 8.5-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 3)
Condition after Shampoo
Giovanni Smooth as Silk Conditioner - 8.5 oz.
Deep Condition 1X/Week

Leave-In Conditioner (Liquid)
KMS California MoistRepair Leave-In Conditioner (150 ml)
Leave-In Conditioner (Creamy)
Giovanni Cosmetics Conditioner Direct Leave-In
Serum (If using direct heat such as a blow dryer or flat iron)

Spectrum Naturals - Coconut Oil Organic, 14 oz liquid
Protein Treatment 2X/Month (Right now, I'm doing 3X because my hair truly needs it)
Joico K Pak Deep Penetrating Reconstructor (select option/size)
Hydration (Only After Protein Treatment)
K-PAK Intense Hydrator 8.5 oz (Pack of 2)
Clarifying Shampoo 1X/Month

Current Flat Iron (I adore this flat iron and rave about it to everyone!)

There are a few things that I know for a fact will change up within the next weeks:

I will be trying out a new Deep Conditioner
It's A 10 miracle hair mask 8 fl oz (240 ml)
Trying out a new Leave-In Conditioner (Liquid)
It's a 10 Miracle Leave In Product 10oz
And, splurging on a Huetiful Hair Steamer

Right now my hair has just reached Collar Bone Length (CBL) and it rubs against my shoulders a lot.  I've learned recently in order to prevent breakage on my ends, the best thing for me to do is keep my hair off my shoulders until its past that phase.  This will help me retain more length by preventing breakage.  I am definitely attached by the hip to my flat iron so using less heat has been a TRUE CHALLENGE of mine.  In addition, I have been interviewing with different companies and felt the need to have straight hair.  But, more recently I have been wearing 'French Rolls' or 'Low Buns' to interviews anyways to look more professional.  So, there really is no need to flat iron my hair to achieve either of those styles.  No excuse now right?!  Well we shall see ;-)  I'm not gonna feel bad about the fact I like my hair straight!  Sheesh, thats why I have a relaxer isn't it?! Lol.  But with my wedding approaching I definitely want long beautiful hair of my own for that special day which is my motivation :-)  Last but not least, I cross wrap my hair when its straight and tie down with a silk scarf.  I don't do the traditional wrap because its straining on my edges and I really don't like the way my hair falls as much as with the cross wrap.  In addition I sleep using a silk pillow case for the rough nights that my scarf may slide off.  Thats it really...  Although, it seems like quite a bit.  If you have any questions please feel free to ask in the comments section below.

Please stay tuned in the next few days/ weeks I will be posting videos of how I moisturize and seal, use protective styling and more.  See ya lata dolls!
